INTRODUCTION
House of Alvin was born from the worlds that raised me — myths and legends that cross cultures, and the histories that glitter behind them: Arthurian romance, the White Snake, constellations, Antoinette’s court, Wu Zetian’s rule, the Maharaja of Patiala’s jewels. When reality felt too small, these stories offered permission — proof that imagination isn’t indulgence, it’s survival. Today, that same instinct lives in our couture.
House of Alvin is a universe of characters who dress as though they’ve lived a hundred lives, where fashion is treated as narrative, inseparable from theatre, music, and art. At the centre of the house is transformation: silhouettes that reveal, conceal, distort, and evolve — garments engineered to move through states, to carry emotion, to make the body feel mythic. We merge the romance and grandeur of fashion history with experimental technique, using couture not as nostalgia but as a living language — intimate and performative, an archive of who we are and who we dare to become. What began as a childhood obsession became a lifelong vocation; what nearly ended became our beginning.
