ANTOINETTE 1999

A love letter to excess, escape, and inherited chaos — Antoinette 1999 imagines five rebellious heiresses raiding their mothers' haute couture archives for one unforgettable night of decadence and destruction. Dripping in pearls, tulle, and trouble, they dance through salons and strobe lights, leaving behind a trail of perfume, scandal, and unravelled silk.

Blending the extravagance of 18th-century Versailles with the raw glamour of late ’90s underground culture, the collection reinterprets femininity through a lens of irreverence, nostalgia, and bold romanticism. It is beauty cracked open — bridal gowns reimagined, corsets undone, elegance with a bite.

For those born into beauty, but made to misbehave.

Look 1

Silk Taffeta over boned crinoline skirt
188 x 168 cm

  • In this sculptural vision of decadence, House of Alvin revives the grandeur of courtly dressing with a rebellious twist. Layers of silk taffeta cascade over a voluminous crinoline base, cinched tightly at the waist to mirror 18th-century silhouettes reimagined for the 21st century. Whisper-soft tulle veils the underskirt, blooming with hand-applied floral appliqués that catch the light like dew. Both ethereal and commanding, this piece evokes the fantasy of a royal wedding re-staged in a dream.

Fur Bolero coat over Duchess satin skirt with freshwater pearl detail
85 x 85 cm

  • A fur bolero the color of dusky rose cloaks the wearer like a secret, wrapped in vintage aristocratic drama. Beneath it, a duchess satin skirt forms architectural bows, framing an intricate web of freshwater pearls that spill like treasure from the corset’s bodice. Look 2 plays on extravagance with tongue-in-cheek theatricality — it’s a salute to the rococo femme fatale, equal parts boudoir and battlefield.

Look 3
2025

Draped duchess satin with silk chiffon cape
200 x 80 cm

  • Flowing duchess satin meets diaphanous silk chiffon in this lavender-toned ode to wistful romance. Asymmetrical draping sculpts the skirt with poetry and precision, while a softly trailing cape lends regal fluidity to every movement. A single flower is nestled into the gathered folds at the hip — a detail so delicate it whispers rather than declares. Look 3 is a portrait of restraint and serenity amid the collection’s more opulent offerings.

Look 4

Alligator Leather Corset over draped silk chiffon skirt
130 x 50 cm

  • Look 4 plays with cool sensuality, pairing a corset crafted from icy alligator leather with a rippling skirt of pale silk chiffon. The juxtaposition of tactile toughness and fluid femininity captures the tension at the heart of the collection. Barely-there draping over the hip reveals a modern take on the siren silhouette, invoking mythology with a sharp, futuristic edge.

Look 5
2025

Draped silk chiffon with garnet beading detail
150 x 100 cm

  • Garnet beading punctuates this seafoam silk chiffon gown like drops of blood on glass. With dramatic gathered detailing and a sheer bodice structured by exposed boning and velvet ribbon, Look 5 conjures a gothic heroine stepping out of a painted cathedral. The silhouette flows like water, yet every stitch evokes precision, weight, and narrative depth. It’s romance with a dark heart.

Look 6
2025

Beaded duchess satin with 3D oversized bow detail
100 x 100 cm

  • Closing the collection with drama, Look 6 is a sculptural masterpiece in beaded duchess satin, crowned with an oversized bow that dominates the skirt like a stage set. The bodice, studded with silver sequins and embroidered lace, draws the eye upward while floral elements bloom across the neckline. This piece channels both the coquettish charm of Marie Antoinette and the power of modern couture — unapologetically lavish, and entirely unforgettable.
