METAMORPHOSIS

A study in evolution, fantasy, and the creatures we’ve always imagined becoming.

This collection dreams beyond the human — into forests thick with myth, oceans haunted by memory, and skies stirred by winged secrets. Metamorphosis reimagines evolution not as science, but as spectacle: the next stage of being is not robotic, but radiant — hybrid, haunting, and wholly divine.

Inspired by ancient folklore and futuristic fables alike, the silhouettes whisper of beings half-human, half-wild — protectors of hidden realms, children of air and water and earth. Wings unfold from shoulder blades, spines shimmer like scales, and limbs are adorned in soft armors of transformation.

It’s not about becoming something else.
It’s about becoming more.

For the creatures who walk among us — and those we keep hidden inside.

A cathedral of shimmer and silhouette, this look erupts from the body like a sea creature mid-rebirth — all armored glamour and impossible grace. Trio-chrome silk lamé cascades in sculptural folds, mirroring the iridescent shimmer of deep-sea wings or giant leaves trembling in a moonlit forest. The duchess satin bodice, encrusted with sequins and etched with sinuous contouring, hints at bioluminescent exoskeletons — fragile, divine, and deadly-beautiful. A sentinel of ocean trenches and ancient secrets, this is evolution not as adaptation, but ascension.

Pleated trio-chrome organza fabric gathered on an illusion tulle base.

A bloom caught mid-unfurl — explosive, ethereal, and untamed. Crafted from pleated trio-chrome organza, each gathered flare mimics petals on the cusp of opening, or wings rippling with breath. The illusion tulle base lends an otherworldly weightlessness, as if the garment were conjured by wind and memory alone. This guardian of enchanted forests wears her power like pollen — alluring, luminous, and vital to worlds unseen. She is flower, flame, and fierce protector.

Cascading tulle skirt with freshwater pearl under hand-blown “SPLASH” acrylic wing with crystals

A vision caught between tide and starlight. Look 3 emerges in a dreamlike swell: a cascading tulle skirt floats like seafoam at moonrise, while strands of freshwater pearls glisten like whispered tears of the ocean. Anchoring this ephemeral surge is a sculpted bodice crowned by hand-blown acrylic wings — a “SPLASH” frozen mid-flight, shattering gravity with crystal shimmer. She is siren and seraph, born where water meets sky, a creature of infinite becoming. In her, the moment of transformation is not past — it is always now.

2022

A duo-chrome resin butterfly sculpture bodice over trichrome organza draped skirt
125 x 95 cm

A living metamorphosis frozen mid-glory. Duo-chrome resin butterflies burst from the bodice in sculptural reverie, each one a spirit of change and guardianship. Trichrome organza drapes and flows beneath, catching light like river stones or dragonfly wings. She is not made for the world we know — she was forged in the shimmer between dimensions, born of chrysalis and command. A queen of transformation, cloaked in armor that glows with every step.

Metamorphosis Runway

The PRINTEMPS-ÉTÉ 23 presentation took place in London, at The Steel Yard, where guests stepped into a dreamscape of metamorphosis and myth. Beneath vaulted arches and industrial shadows, a procession of otherworldly figures emerged — winged, scaled, and crowned — blurring the line between human and creature.
